Pablo Rodríguez Lozano
Pablo Rodríguez. Postdoctoral Researcher in the GLOWATER Research Group, research group about water resources and global change, at the Geography Department of the University of the Balearic Islands. He holds a Degree in Environmental Sciences (Autonomous University of Madrid, 2009), a M.Sc. in Fundamental and Applied Ecology (University of Barcelona & University of Girona, 2010), and a PhD in Ecology (University of Barcelona, 2016). His current research focuses on the study of people’s perceptions and socio-ecological conflicts around water and freshwater ecosystems, paying special attention to non-perennial streams.
Patricia de la Fuente Gamero
Patricia De La Fuente Gamero. PhD in Marine Sciences (UPC) and Msc in Global Change (UIMP-CSIC). Much of her career has been carried out at the Institut of Marine Sciences in Barcelona where she has worked on various research projects and has acquired a broad global and interdisciplinary vision of the physical, chemical and biological processes that occur in ecosystems, especially the marine, and its relationship with the variability of the past climate, and how it can be affected in turn by current global change. She has extensive experience in field work (oceanographic surveys, coastal sampling), analysis techniques of various physical and biogeochemical properties, data processing, process modeling, and research project management. She is co-founder of OneMind-DataScience, a group of researchers who provide support and training in data science. She is currently a researcher at the University of Burgos and coordinates and develops several citizen science projects for the study and conservation of aquatic ecosystems.
Emilie Petri
Emilie Petri M.A. is a human-environmental geographer interested in political ecology, water governance, and international and comparative environmental policy. She holds a BA in geology from Macalester College (St. Paul, MN, USA) and a MA in geography and development studies and graduate certificate in water policy from the University of Arizona (Tucson, AZ, USA) . Her thesis examined transboundary groundwater governance on the US-Mexico border and how water contamination is impacting bi-national communities. She has worked on climate change and water policies initiatives in Mexico and the Institute for the Environment in Tucson, AZ. She moved to Europe in 2017 to expand and deepen her perspectives on these topics and is currently based in Bavaria, Germany at the Hof University of Applied Sciences.
Peter M. Rudberg
Peter M. Rudberg, hold
s a PhD from the University of Wageningen, where he investigated environmental policy implementation and learning in water governance. His MSc, from the Stockholm Resilience Center, explored the governance of social-ecological systems, while his MA, from the University of Edinburgh, focused on international and European history and politics. He has worked and published with the Stockholm Environment Institute, Wageningen University and the Stockholm Regional Planning Office. Ongoing international research projects include "Sustainable Hydropower use and Integration", part of the China Europe Water Platform, as well as, the JPI Water funded project, "Enhancing Trust in Government for Effective Water Governance". Peter works with the motto of doing what is possible while striving for what is required and is always interested in searching for evidence of, as well as contributing to, modifications increasing the sustainability of the management of natural resources.
